Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Prixe (FFP) contract to procure No. 1 and No. 2 Ships Service Turbine Generators (SSTG) Material for a VIRGINIA Class Submarine. The intended contract will be awarded using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 13.5.
The ordering of the long lead-time material will begin immediately after contract award.
NNSY intends to award a contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation on a sole source basis. Notice of this justification will be provided on SAM.gov in accordance with FAR 13.501.
The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing, with a size standard of 1300 employees. The Federal Supply Code is 2830.
