NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE (post on sam.gov as a special notice)

The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for the replacement of a Sally Port Door Repair at a Raleigh, NC Federal Courthouse. As this requirement is considered urgent/unusual and compelling. The period of performance for this effort will be a 12-month base period with one (1) 12-month option periods. The total estimated value is less than $15,000.00.
This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-2 and FAR 13.106-1(b) for the aforementioned requirement. This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
