The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors to determine what small business set-aside, if any, the requirement shall be competed under.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, PWD Great Lakes is seeking an eligible small business with the expertise and qualifications in certifying, repairing, and preventive maintenance to Fire Truck, aerial equipment and other fire department vehicles (e.g. ambulances). All vehicles are located and serve Naval Station Great Lakes, IL. The work includes furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision to inspect, service, and certify critical fire department vehicles and associated equipment for Naval Station Great Lakes Fire Department. The 5-vehicle fleet is solely Pierce equipment, which require annual inspections and specified certifications provided only by Pierce certified dealers.
SMALL BUSINESS entities are encouraged to respond to this source sought. The NAICS code applicable to this type of work will be 811198 – All Other Automotive Repair and Maintenance. Offerors are required to be registered in System for Award Management (SAM).
