The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is contemplating award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract, with one (1) 12 month base year and one (1) 12 month option, to be awarded on a sole source basis to AdaCore, 150W.30th Street, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001-4091, for the purchase of GNAT Pro Ada software and support of the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC). The proposed sole source acquisition will utilize Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

A corresponding Brand Name/Sole Source Justification and Approval utilizing the authority FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, FAR 13.501(a) Brand Name/Sole Source was approved on September 4, 2024 asserting that this requirement falls within the threshold where AdaCore is the only source capable of providing their products directly to the Government. The redacted version of this Justification is attached.

The NAICS code for this effort is 513210 and the small business sized standard is $47M.

This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP/RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered quotes and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
