APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Government needs to enhance our existing Emergency Operation Center (EOC) equipment to
provide the ability to make simultaneous video teleconference calls in three different rooms in our
building. We currently have the setup for one channel/network to make a single VTC call at a time shared
between three office areas in our building. The three rooms are the EOC main floor of 30 people, a
conference room that seats 15, and the alternate Crisis Action Team (CAT) room for additional personnel.
Each area has the setup for a single call that is not integrated for a seamless interface or the ability to
make multiple calls simultaneously at the same time. Additionally, we need the ability to make VTC calls
to different lines for both NIPR and SIPR. The awarded contract will be adding additional VTC channels
into the EOC and increase the calls allowed at a single time from 1 to 3. The contractor shall procure,
install, and test equipment to deliver a complete system that will seamlessly integrate between all three
rooms within the building. The work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the installation and
connectivity of all VTC equipment’s in the building to enable NIPR/SIPR VTC capability, MediaPorts
and VTC Cameras.
