This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement is solicited as full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System number is 334516, with a size standard in number of 1000 employees and a Product /Service Code of 6640. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity located at 808 Schreider Street, Fort Detrick, Maryland 21702 is seeking to purchase brand name only Leica Enuity Ultramicrotome, Leica HistoCore Autocut Microtome, installation, and training in accordance with the Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs) in Attachment B. The brand name only justification redacted for the Leica Enuity Ultramicrotome and HistoCore Autocut Microtome is attached as Attachment A. All interested vendors shall provide quotations using the Pricing Sheet in Attachment C. The Government is requesting delivery of all quantities no later than 120 days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to the following location: Place of delivery 8350 Ricketts Point Rd, Gunpowder, Maryland 21010. Interested vendor shall specify a specific delivery date or number of days ARO on their quote. No partial shipments unless specifically authorized at the time of award. The applicable clauses for this RFQ and resulting award are listed in Attachment D.All questions, comments, and requests for information regarding this acquisition shall be sent by email and cite the combined synopsis-solicitation number in the subject line. Government reserves the discretion not to respond to any inquiries submitted after August 28, 2024 at 4:00 PM EDT. All responses to questions will be incorporated into a written amendment. All quotes shall be sent electronically via email to Nicholas VanDevander at nicholas.a.vandevander.civ@health.mil. Quotations shall be received no later than 4:00 PM EDT, August 28, 2024. Late submissions shall be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f).
