NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7 (NCO 7) intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to the SaniGlaze International, LLC of Jacksonville, FL. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). A Limiting Sources Justification has been prepared. SaniGLAZE International, which has Sole Proprietorship of the existing restoration/maintenance services. This requirement is for ongoing services of SaniGLAZE floor restoration and maintenance services to the William Jennings Bryan Dorn Veteran Affairs Medical Center located in Columbia, SC. The services at the facility are necessary for restoration, application and cleaning of the tile and grout areas. Also, it shall provide the facility with tile and grout that shall look refreshed and be maintainable with Green products. By keeping continuing the SaniGLAZE processes, the government will be able to continue to not only restore tile and grout surfaces, but also seal out mold, dirt, and future contaminants for the life of the floor while providing quality healthcare to the Veterans. Services will be from 02/01/2025 through 01/31/2026 with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods under NAICS 325611. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). The anticipated award date is October 15, 2024. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 325611 Soap and Other Detergent Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,100 Employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, Contractors may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the contracting officer whether to continue with the sole source procurement or to provide for competition.
