1. PIT tags are 12.5mm Length x 2.12mm Diameter (this is the min and max required size for salmon (approximately 20g-50g) at pit tagging).

2. Low-frequency 134.2 kHz operation

3. ISO standards 11784/11785 FDX-B compliant

4. Must be compatible with Biomark HPR PIT tag readers

PIT Tag reader backup hardware:

1. Compatible with Biomark HPR Reader (antenna, charger and communication cable have connections specific to the HPR Reader. The reader works seamlessly with the required software.) We currently own five Biomark HPR Readers that occasionally need cable and antenna replacements.

Measuring boards:

1. Compatible with DCM Software.

2. Bluetooth capable so can be used in wet environments.

Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.
