Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) requires Contractor support to provide ultra-high temperature materials testing up to and including temperatures as high as 6,000F and characterization efforts to support materials including but not limited to composite (C/C, SiC/SiC, C/SiC), ceramic (carbides, nitrides, borides), and refractory metallic materials (rhenium, niobium, tungsten) development, design, and analysis activities.
The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to request information from industry on a Government requirement; solicit feedback and
potential interest from large and small business concerns; and survey the capabilities of small and large business entities to satisfy the Government’s requirement.
Attached to or included in this Sources Sought Notice is the Sources Sought Notice, a Market Research Questionnaire and a DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW).
Any questions related to this Sources Sought Notice, Market Research Questionnaire and/or DRAFT SOW are due by 12 September 2024 at 1000 ET. All answers to questsions received by this due date and time will be posted by 20 September 2023 at 1400 ET. Completed questionnaires and capability statements shall be submitted by 02 October 2024 at 1200 ET.
