The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is issuing solicitation 15B41824Q00000002 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Water Softeners Replace Resin and Re-Bed Media at Federal Correctional Complex 4700 Bureau Road South Terre Haute, Indiana 47802. See attached SOW statement of work for details. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, services, insurance, permits and equipment to carry out the work in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. **Additionally, a Site Visit is Scheduled for August 21, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. EST. The performance period for the project will be 90 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $100,000 and $250,000. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 221310 with a corresponding small business size standard of $41 million.
