Request for Quote “Supply & Installation of modular furniture for a section at Consulate office building.”

The U.S. Consulate General, Chennai invites you to participate in this solicitation for the “Supply and installation of modular furniture for a section at Consulate Office building”, as described in the attached solicitation documents. The vendor shall furnish all the information required to accomplish all the work as required in the solicitation document. Please refer to the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) letter herewith for details. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered.

RFQ TIMELINE:

• Registration for site inspection: Monday, August 19, 2024 by 12:00 noon (IST) to ChennaiProcurementFSNS@state.gov

• Mandatory site visit with vendors: Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. (IST) at the U.S. Consulate General Chennai located at No. 220, Anna Salai, Chennai 600 006.

• Deadline for Questions: Thursday, August 22, 2024 by 03:00 p.m. (IST) to EscobarTA@state.gov with cc to ChennaiProcurementFSNS@state.gov

• Deadline for RFQ Submittal: Friday, August 30, 2024 by 12:00 noon (IST) to EscobarTA@state.gov with cc to ChennaiProcurementFSNS@state.gov

• Vendor must have service support availability in Chennai, India [Mandatory].
• Overseas vendors intending to participate in this bid must provide documents in support of their claim of available service support, with past performance details in Chennai. Failure of submission will result in decline of Quote.
• Please anticipate a delay in the commencement of the project, which may extend up to six months or even more depending on site conditions and also due to several ongoing projects. The procurement process is currently underway to obligate the purchase order not later than Sep 30, 2024, to utilize current fiscal year funds for this project.
