As a result of the Sources Sought Notice for MK 41 Interface Converter Ethernet (ICE) Assembly (Assy) in support of the Vertical Launching System (VLS) posted on 07 June 2024, this requirement will be solicited as full and open competition.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) anticipates a contract requirement to fabricate, assembly, test and delivery of VLS ICE ASSY for the Sensors, Weapons & Launchers Department of the NSWC PHD, Port Hueneme, California. NSWC PHD is a field activity of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334519 with a Size Standard of 600 employees.

The anticipated performance periods will span (5) five years which include a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. A Firm-Fixed-Price contract is anticipated a Request for Proposal (RFP) to be issued on or around August 2024. Drawings will be provided to all JCP-registered requestors via DoD SAFE. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
