Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Sterile Processing Service Construction project at the Royal C. Johnson Veteran s Memorial Hospital located within the Veteran s Affairs Sioux Falls Health Care System at 2501 West 22nd St., Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57105-5046. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) requires the construction of a new Sterile Processing Services at the Royal C. Johnson Veterans Memorial Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This project has been determined to be a Bona Fide need by Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) 23, the Sioux Falls Veteran s Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), and the Healthcare Environment and Facilities Programs (HEFP), previously known as Office of Capital Asset Management Engineering Support (OCAMES). The Sioux Falls VAMC is seeking a General Contractor (GC) to construct a Sterile Processing Service(s) addition to Building 05 of the Royal C. Johnson Veteran s Memorial Hospital. The requirement will include but is not limited to the preparation of the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of portions of existing structure, site construction and furnishing of labor, materials, equipment, management, supervision, tools, and all other necessary resources to perform the required work. Â ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Fee Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the Tradeoffs procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued approximately mid-August 2024. The Period of Performance is approximately 600 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $20,000,000.00 and $50,000,000.00.
