Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Wisconsin City: Milwaukee Delineated Area: North Boundary: Hwy 18 from Hwy 45 to Hwy 57 South Boundary: Hwy 24 to Interstate 41 East Boundary: Hwy 57 to Hwy 24 West Boundary: Hwy 41 to Hwy 18 Maximum Rentable Sq. Ft.: 12,723 Maximum Usable Sq. Ft. 11,063 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 76 Full Term: 20 Years Firm Term: 10 Years Occupancy Required By: 1/5/2025 The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Milwaukee, Wi that will be expiring in FY25. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Space must be handicapped accessible, (ADA compliant), with 76 on-site parking spaces. The space preferred will be first-floor contiguous, but will consider non-contiguous and/or other floor levels with working elevators if ADA compliant. NOTE: Respondents are advised that the VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based on the responses to this advertisement. VA will not pay commissions. Offerors are responsible for any costs associated with providing proposals to the Government. VA is only gathering market research information at this point and will only consider proposals from owners, landlords, lessors, or their legal representatives when actual proposals/offers are sought via solicitation as a result of this market research.
