Synopsis:

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition and Procurement Division is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Jamie L. Whitten Plant Materials Center, 2533 CR 65, Yalobusha County, Coffeeville, MS.

As described in the Statement of Work, the project consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for removing and disposing of current gutters, downspouts, components, and aluminum trim covering fascia boards. Identifying, removing, disposing, and replacing rotted fascia boards with new treated lumber. Installing new aluminum trim/drip edge over fascia boards. Furnishing and installing new, seamless aluminum gutters, downspouts, components, and site cleanup.

This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business set-aside. To be eligible for award, interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov

A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.

The anticipated period of performance for this project is 15 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238160, Roofing Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $19M.

In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is less than $25,000.
