THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources for a requirement of a TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant RF Shielded Cell Phone/Laptop boxes that supports the needs to the Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS) compound. Any and all parts and requiring replacement parts and associated work shall meet or exceed current system configurations and manufactures specifications.

Joint Interagency Task Force South is currently conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the capabilities to fulfill a requirement of a TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant RF Shielded Cell Phone/Laptop boxes. We are looking for boxes to provide storage at 2 of our security entry points and be installed by the vendor. These boxes will be placed on multiple walls to maximize the number of boxes. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Request for Proposal (RFP), or a Request for Quotation (RFQ). It is not considered to be a commitment by the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to determine the strategy for future procurement.

Requirements: The required RF Shielded Boxes must meet the following specifications:

1. TAA Compliance: All products must meet Trade Agreements Act compliance.

2. Size and Configuration:

Checkpoint 1:

East wall MAX 44”w x 72”h

South Wall MAX 48”w x 72”h

Checkpoint 2:

West wall MAX 109”w x 72”h

North Wall MAX 110”w x 36”h

3. Vendor will supply all products and services.

4. Must include ability to replace key cores in each box due to lost keys.

5. RF Shielded boxes are primarily for cell phones, but vendor shall also provide RF Shielded boxes large enough for tablets and laptops.

6. Product Brochures or Detailed Specifications: If available, provide any product literature or detailed specifications for the RF Shielded Boxes or similar products.

All work is to be completed at Naval Base Truman Annex, Key West, FL as outlined in this Scope of Work. All installations shall be completed in accordance with the Manufactures requirements as well as federal and local guidelines. NAICS 337215.

This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not currently seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal, as a result of, this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to these sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to these sources sought will be solely at the responding partys expense. Not responding to these sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for additional information pertaining to these sources sought.

RESPONSE INFORMATION: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be received no later than 12:00 PM EST, on July 7, 2024. Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status and whether they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. All interested parties must provide a response containing a written capabilities statement, confirming they can comply with the government needs, as specified above. All responders to this Sources Sought Notice understand, by submitting this written statement, they are certifying they can meet ALL criteria.
