BIL_HSO HOOP BUILDINGS ASSEMBLY
This notice is posted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.213-2 Presolicitation Notices and FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Oregon State Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal for a firm fixed price construction contract for BIL_HSO Hoop Buildings Assembly located
within the vicinity of BLM Northwest Oregon District area of responsibility, at 27004 South Sheckly Road, Colton, approximately 32 miles southeast of Portland, Clackamas County,
Oregon.
The Work of the Project includes all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, tools, supplies, and materials necessary to construct two reinforced, sloped concrete pads for the
placement of two Hoop Buildings, erection of two Government-supplied Hoop Buildings, grading of the pad site and surrounding area, HMAC paved entrances and access road, electrical conduit
and wiring, drainage structures, seeding and mulch disturbed areas, and coordination with BLM for work scheduling to conform to regulations, restrictions, and to maintain orchard
operations during construction. The work may also include, at the Governments option, the supply and installation of a metal roof structure.
The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The Contractor shall be required to (a)commence work under this contract within ten (10)
calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b)prosecute the work diligently, and (c)complete the entire work ready for use not later than ninety (90) days
after the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set aside under NAICS code is 236220 Construction Of Miscellaneous
Buildings, and size standard $45 million. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Buy American-Construction Materials. The basis of award will be lowest price,
technically acceptable. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about July 3, 2024. The tentative anticipated period of performance is between August 2024 and September 2024.
