Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable of meeting the qualification requirements for the following item: NSN 2915-010576294, Strainer Assembly. This item is currently manufactured by Donaldson Company (Cages 13520 and 14818) under part numbers 16-269-1 and 81038 and Eaton Corporation (Cage 86090) under part number 81038.

This does not constitute as a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.

Since this is a source-controlled item, DLA cannot approve sources for this item. If your company is interested in qualifying their product for purposes of future acquisitions you must contact the design control activity specified on the source control drawing. Responses to this sources sought notice must be received by April 06 2024, 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
