The 765th Air Base Squadron, Contracting Flight (765th ABS/CONF), located at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, is conducting a market survey with the intent of determining the interest, capabilities, and qualifications of potential vendors in providing a Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT).

This notice is a sources sought for planning purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, a Request for Quotes (RFQ), or an indication the Government will contract for the supplies and services contained in this notice.

For the purpose of this Sources Sought, the MAFT will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code as 333998 – All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery; and Product Service Code (PSC) 4210 – Fire/Rescue/Safety/Environmental Protection Equipment.

Response to this notice is strictly voluntary. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of contractors information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. This sources sought constitutes a market research tool for the collection and analysis of information.

SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT

The 765th ABS/CONF has a need for procuring a MAFT, with the product specifications stated in Attachment 1, or similar.

• Sources capable of satisfying the required need.
• Input regarding the procurement of the MAFT.
• Notification of Attachment 1, Product Specifications containing an error, omission, or otherwise unsound requirement.
