Regional Contracting Office (RCO) Bavaria, intends to issue a solicitation for refuse and recyclables collection services, USAG Hohenfels. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. The Government anticipates posting the solicitation to the sam.gov website in March 2024. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted to this website.
This requirement includes operation of a Main Sorting Center in USAG Bavaria-Hohenfels, operation of interim storage area for construction debris, storage area for container storage, refuse/recycling support of training units within USAG Bavaria in Hohenfels and Amberg LTA. Garrison part has been stable in cost and tonnage of disposal and weight during the past 5 years. The contract is specifically tailored to the specific needs of the training rotations held at Hohenfels. The Period of Performance is expected to start on 1 July 2024 and includes a one (1) year Base Period with four (4) one-year Option Periods IAW FAR Clause 52.217-9. The Product Service Code (PSC) code for this requirement is S205 (Trash/Garbage Collection).
Refuse and Recycling Collection Services are required to be in compliance with German waste law and regulations, and to keep a safe environment to avoid health and safety hazards in the USAG Hohenfels footprint. Services are required IAW the PWS for collection of industrial waste and recycling materials, and the operation of recycling centers within USAG Hohenfels.
