COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION

LA Skimmer Trawl Survey

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number 1333MF24Q0012.

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-02 (JAN 2024) (Deviation 2024-06) (JAN 2024).

(iv) This solicitation is being issued as a total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 483114. The small business size standard is 550 employees.

(v) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial item(s)/services:


(Service) CLIN 0001 – Base Year
Services, non-personal, to provide all labor, equipment and materials services and facilities (unless otherwise provided herein) to provide charter operations for two consecutive weeks per trip in the LA State waters of Chandeleur Sound and Lake Borgne in waters <10 ft. in accordance with the Statement of Work. Period of Performance April 22, 2024 through October 31, 2025

INVOICES TO BE BILLED IN ARREARS OF COMPLETED SERVICES. PROVIDE MONTHLY AND ANNUAL PRICING FOR EACH BASE AND OPTION YEAR. QUOTE PRICING MAY BE PROVIDED ON ATTACHED SF18 FORM OR ON COMPANY LETTERHEAD.

(vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance:

Period of performance shall be: April 22, 2024 through October 31, 2025

Place of Performance: Trawling will occur in LA State waters of Lake Borgne and Chandeleur Sound in waters <10 ft
