Asbestos Abatement along Salinity Canal, Yuma, AZ
The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin has a requirement to collect, haul, and dispose of asbestos containing material (ACM)
along the Salinity Canal in Yuma County, AZ
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, certificates/permits, and materials to remove and legally dispose of all ACM located on site and 8 inches of soil beneath the pile
is to be over-excavated, removed, and legally disposed of.
This requirement is restricted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 562910, Environmental Remediation Services, with a corresponding small business size standard of
$25M.
This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government contemplates award of one
firm-fixed price purchase order but reserves the right to award none at all.
A site visit is scheduled for February 7, 2024, 9:00 AM local time. Location for site visit is 32°4238.66"N, 114°339.86"W. Major cross streets East Levee Road and Shannon Way. See
