REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION:

NSN 2815-01-411-2137 is a commercial cylinder head used on detuned 6.5L internal combustion engine that replaces the 6.2L motor previously installed in the High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). This cylinder head is used on Base, A1 series, A2 as well as M1121 and M1123 HMMWVs.

The Government currently does not have a Technical Data Package (TDP) to purchase this part from other than the current source(s).

Only AM General LLC (34623) and General Dynamics European Land Systems (S3002) has the requisite technical and engineering expertise to perform all efforts required to provide the supplies and services identified for this item. A substitute item cant be used without prior approval.
