BLM-CO Southwest District (SWD) Janitorial

The BLM requires janitorial services for our SWD Facilities in Montrose, CO. This is a sources sought notice (request for information) for market research and a possible further set-aside to a sub-category of small business (EDWOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, VOSB, ISBEE, etc.) The determination for the final set-aside will be made based upon the responses to this RFI and additional market research.

The DUNS number has transitioned to the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), two factor authentication for log-ons, and the validation step has experienced many issues. Short Description of requirement: Daily and weekly cleaning of 4 buildings (two main, one warehouse, and a workshop) with a total of approximately 17,411 SF. General tasks will be vacuuming floors, sweeping, mopping, dusting, coffee bar and restrooms cleaning. Frequency varies according to the time of year and season. Type of Contract: Performance Based Firm Fixed Price with a Base year and 4 year options.

Period of Performance - Mar 2024 - Feb 2029.

Incumbent: There is currently no incumbent, but the most recent contract was 140L1720P0008 for a total contract value of $204,814.03 for three years. The final two years were not optioned by the Government due to management decisions. Since the spring of 2023, the janitorial services have been performed in house by Government personnel.
