FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Department of Veteran Affairs, VISN 7, is conducting market research to find qualified vendors that can provide
Home Oxygen services and supplies for beneficiaries of the Birmingham VA Healthcare System (BHMVAMC). Contracted services are to be extended to patients managed in their home environment
and may extend to veteran patients in a nine-county service area of the BHMVAMC. Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management,
transportation, safety management, infection control, repairs, maintenance, and in-service training for patients to include patient education as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
The contractor will be responsible for providing, installing, and servicing medical oxygen equipment, high-pressure cylinder, concentrator and/or liquid systems, portable systems,
emergency back-up systems and supplies to eligible VA patients as required by the BHMVAMC. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission
of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Unsolicited offers will not be
accepted. Vendors are advised that the United States (U.S.) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this source sought (SS). All costs
associated with responding to this SS will be solely at the responding party s expense. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. The
Government may use the responses to this SS for information and planning purposes. Not responding to this SS does not preclude participation in any future solicitations. Responses to this
notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the Contract Opportunities at
