Sources Sought Notification for the Purchase of VDE Entrypoint® Licenses and Maintenance

This is a Sources Sought announcement issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Agricultural Statistic Service (NASS) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response.

NASS has a requirement for Entrypoint® in accordance with the attached Salient Characteristics. NASS seeks to purchase licenses and maintenance for VDE and procure the Entrypoint software as they rely on the VDE software for the keying of forms in the Frames Processing Group at the National Operations Center in St. Louis, MO and Regional Field Offices across the country.

Responses to this notification will help to determine the acquisition strategy and approach for any future solicitation.
Submission Instructions: Interested vendors are invited to submit a response to this source sought notification by 5:00 PM EST on December 21, 2023, to the attention of Mr. David Tibbs at david.tibbs@usda.gov. All questions asked shall be submitted in writing to the primary Point of Contract and will be addressed accordingly.

Responses should be no more than 5 pages in length and include the following information:
1. Organization Name;
2. Contact Name, e-mail address and phone number;
3. Organizations UEI number;
4. Business size status for the applicable NAICS code;
5. A statement of capability highlighting the vendor’s ability to provide the requested licenses and maintenance. Certification of Authorized Reseller status required.

Interested vendors are instructed to provide only the data requested. No proprietary classified confidential or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any nonproprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s). Any additional information will not be reviewed by the USDA.
