This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to GLOMAX Inc., located at 6675 E. 75TH STREET #429, INDIANAPOLIS IN 46250. Services will be for one base year with four option years from 01/20/2024 through 01/19/2029 under NAICS 334517. The vendor shall provide annual maintenance and support to NexoDose software in the form of upgrades and troubleshooting and correction of software related issues for SLVHCS, New Orleans, LA. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; due to the unique characteristics needed for this service GLOMAX Inc. is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Therefore, this service is typically procured through a Sole Source NAC Contract through VHA without competition under FAR 6.302-1. REQUIRED SERVICES: Contractor shall provide annual maintenance and support to NexoDose software in the form of upgrades and troubleshooting and correction of software related issues for SLVHCS, New Orleans, LA. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement not later than 01/18/2024 at 12:00 PM CST, to marcus.sidney@va.gov . When responding to this announcement, respondents should put Notice of Intent Glomax Inc in the subject line. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. Responding as an interested party under the www.beta.sam.gov website does not constitute convincing evidence of capabilities. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted. If after January 18, 2024, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, NCO 16 shall negotiate solely with Glomax Inc. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete the proposed requirement shall be based upon responses received and is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
