19 are performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified providers/firms for the removal, disposal, and replacement Air Cooling System. The current AC
Unit has gone beyond its life cycle and is no longer performing at normal capacity. The unit provided cooling to critical IT equipment and Police Services communication networks.
Socio-economic precedence are as follows: (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small Business to set aside GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Firms responding shall specify they can meet the required specifications: Remove existing air conditioning unit (AC) on the 10th floor at the Oklahoma City VA HCS, Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. The contractor shall provide supervision, manpower, and materials to properly remove and dispose the existing Liebert AC unit and associated parts and install a new AC unit with
brand name/equal specifications/features of the existing Liebert AC unit such as Liebert DS VS035ASA1E09D70. Due to the unique location of the area the AC unit is located, the use of the
cargo hatch on the 9th floor may be required. A cargo elevator with a max load of 5,000 pounds is available to reach the 9th floor. It is recommended to conduct a site visit to find the
best way to transport equipment to the 10th floor. Contractor shall disconnect and remove existing evaporator and condenser unit, Contractor shall demolish and remove any associated
tubing/conduit/insulation. Contractor shall install new evaporator and condensing unit and associated tubing conduit and insulation. Contractor shall connect and utilize nearest power
source available. Contractor shall provide Operations and Maintenance Manuals or training to VA Maintenance personnel. Contractor shall provide manufacture warranty information. Clean up
area after project completion and contact COR for final inspection. Contractors shall provide: 1. A completed copy of Business information listed below with a capabilities statement. 2.
Completed copy of the attachment (exhibit A) with responses. The NAICS Code 333415: Air Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment
Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,250. The PSC is N041: Installation of Equipment-Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Air Circulating Equipment. THIS IS NOT A
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Only written responses, to exhibit A (page 3), will be accepted at this stage. Do not submit additional documentation or attachments outside these requirements
