See below specifications: This is a brand name only. SCOPE: Stryker is the only manufacturer capable of providing the equipment described above. Stryker provides unique differentiating features, essential to the facility, that cannot be found or duplicated in any other products on the market. James A Haley VA has existing Stryker powered surgical systems and components which are compatible with the requested system as well all Stryker disposables used with the drill system. Procuring the upgraded Stryker Drill system will reduce the need to purchase redundant equipment and disposable supplies. As an existing Stryker powered instruments user, the training needed to bring James A Haley VAs surgical teams to full competency is lengthy and would cost additional funds to switch to another brand. Stryker is the only vendor that can provide use of all drill systems to cover Orthopedic, Podiatry, ENT and Neurosurgery simultaneously.
