Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and supervision required to complete the work per the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. See Attachment 002 Statement of Work NFSR 283 Road and Repair clean for specific details not included under this paragraph.

▪ Cleaning and reconstructing of ditches and leadoffs.

▪ Reshaping the road prism and placement of surface aggregate.

▪ Seeding and fertilizing of ditches.

▪ Cattle Guard Removal

Work begins at State Road 112 on NFSR-283 and will consist of be 2.6 miles of ditch and road prism reshaping, with the placement of aggregate surface material. All work will be staked in the field by Forest Service personnel. One Cattle guard will be removed and disposed of off Forest Service property. Select fill will then be placed in the void and compacted in 8” lifts.

Type of Contract: This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) which will result in award of a firm-fixed price contract. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive/responsible bidder.

Set Aside: The project is set-aside 100% for small businesses per FAR 19.5.

▪ PSC Code Z2LB - Repair or Alteration of Highways, Roads, Streets, Bridges, and Railways.

Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this project is: (d) Between $250,000 and $500,000.
