The Postal Service is seeking to identify vehicle suppliers interested in responding to a potential Request for Proposal that can provide the following vehicle types capable of operating within the United States (able to meet US DOT FMVSS safety standards and US EPA/CARB emission standards):

1. At least 12,000 battery-electric right hand drive vehicles providing 175-280 cubic feet of cargo space starting no earlier than October 2025 over a 1-to-3-year period.

2. At least 1,500 internal combustion engine right hand drive vehicles providing 175-280 cubic feet of cargo space starting no earlier than October 2024 over a 1-year period.

Interested suppliers must register in our eSourcing system by going to the following Supplier Registration site, https://about.usps.com/suppliers/becoming/registration.htm, and following the steps as directed. Prospective suppliers must have the capacity to support a national fleet based in the 48 contiguous states, as well as non-contiguous states and territories.

After registering, email both the Primary and Secondary Points of Contact listed below to let them know you have registered successfully and are interested in participating and include the information requested below.

Respondents can respond positively for both or either of the types listed above (not required to respond positively for both). With response, please include vehicle characteristics such as height, width, length, curb weight, GVWR, BEV battery size (kWh), estimated driving range (for BEV), fuel efficiency (for ICE), etc.
