The USDAARS/Plains Area Grassland, Soil, and Water Research in Temple, TX is in need of hazardous waster removal and disposal. The contractor will need to properly identify each waste and a description of how it will be disposed of (either recycled/treated/landfilled), and a demonstration of the cost-effectiveness of each type of disposal for each specific waste. The contractor is to be responsible for proper packaging, labeling, and transportation from accumulation site to ultimate disposal. The contractor is to ensure the waste goes to a properly permitted site and that manifests and any other required documentation are provided to the location. The contractor is to ensure all hazardous waste is disposed of properly to avoid the possibility of a fine or penalty being assessed by the state or EPA. The contractor is responsible for any fines/penalties assessed due to state, local or federal laws being violated by the contractor.

All documentation and reporting requirements for hazardous and toxic waste disposal is to be accomplished by the contractor, with copies provided. The contractor is responsible for the waste from the accumulation point until its ultimate disposal, including its proper handling, identification, transportation, packaging, labeling and paperwork required.
