This Source Sought Notice (SS) SPE605-24-RFI-1000 is for information and planning purposes only and shall

not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) - Energy.

The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified Businesses that are interested and capable of providing for the ground fuel requirements for DLA-Energy. This SS covers the grounds fuel requirements for DLA-Energy customers located in various areas of Japan. The expected period of performance is July 1, 2024 - July 31, 2029.

The product procured consists of:

• Fuel Oil, Burner (FJ1); NSN: 9140-01-408-7183
• Fuel Oil, SP Burner (FJ3); NSN: 9140-01-408-7198
• Kerosene 1 K (KJ1); NSN: 9140-01-408-7211
• Reformulated Gasoline, Midgrade (MMR); NSN: 9130-01-388-4513
• Gasoline, Midgrade Unleaded (MUM); NSN: 9130-01-272-0383
• Gasoline, Premium Unleaded (MUP; NSN: 9130-00-148-7104
• Gasoline, Regular Unleaded (MUR; NSN: 9130-00-148-7103
• Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JA1); NSN 9130-00-753-5026

For purpose of compiling responses to this Source Sought Notice, the deadline is set on November 6, 2024, 3:00

PM, Fort Belvoir, Virginia Time.

In responding to this notice please provide the following information:

1. Your company name, CAGE Code, any owners, email address, phone/fax numbers.
2. Background information of the firm and/or contractor regarding technical capability and ability to perform.
3. Which areas of Japan are you able to supply fuel? What are the names and locations of your fuel supplier(s)?
4. Are you a refinery?
5. Has your company participated in any current or previous contracts under the Direct Delivery Ground Fuels Program? If so, were any of those contracts performed in any of the Japan locations listed below?
