Contract Opportunity: Repair of C-130 Ground Collision Avoidance Computer (GCAC)

Solicitation for this requirement is being issued by AFSC/PZAAB (FA8538) in support of the 638 Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG), 409 Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS)/GUMB for issuance of a Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract for depot-level repair for the C-130 AN/ASN 167(v) Ground Collision Avoidance Computer (NSN: 5841-01-463-3343 LG and NSN: 5841-01-449-9255 LG). This effort will be a 5-year contract consisting of a Basic Option Period and four (4) 1-year option periods. This solicitation is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate utilizing Other Than Full and Open procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Specifications, plans or draws relating to this procurement described above are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Electronic procedures were used for this solicitation. Supplies or services required to satisfy agency requirements are available from only one responsible source INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISE, INC (CAGE Code: 50218) Talladega, Alabama.
The following information applies:
This solicitation is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. Governments required delivery schedule is 45 calendar days after receipt of repairable carcasses and 30 Calendar Days beginning after first delivery. Early delivery is acceptable at no additional cost to the Government.
