The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific)
hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-
Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with DRS Signal Solutions. The
requirement is for the purchase of the following:

Item 0001:
SI-9911/SYS-1Transceiver w/RF Switch
1U 19 Inch Chassis with one SI-8747/CC-1C and one RF switch
Manufacturer: DRS Signal Solutions
QTY: 1


The procurement is for one (1) transceiver with one (1) RF switch. In order to have
backwards integration DRS Signal Solutions can supply the correct item which allows for
communication with other components of the project. DRS Signal Solutions provides the
only transceiver that meets the project requirements and enables continuation of the
mission.

A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice
is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may
submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The
applicable NAICS Code is 334220 and the business size standard is 1250 (in employees)
