Department of Veterans Affairs/VISN 5/RPO-E/NCO5 Sources Sought Notice Steam Water Heater Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 5 is seeking sources for a steam water heater for the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center. The requirement will support the medical center stay within compliance of policies found in VHA Directive 1810 and VHA Directive 1061(1). The NAICS code for this contract action is 333414 - Heating Equipment (except Warm Air Furnaces) Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard: 500 employees). The Product Service Code for this action is 4410 - Industrial Boilers. Responses from vendors classified in similar NAICS codes and/or PSCs are encouraged and will be accepted. The equipment being sought for the requirement is listed below - Semi-Instantaneous Water Heater - Brand Name or Equal to: Hesco HI Series Semi-Instantaneous Steam Model HI-BB-60-SS-100-4-V-SW-P-20-DSS-150 Steam powered 120 Volt Vertical Maximum Height of 80 Maximum Width of 50 Single Wall Pilot Operated Double Solenoid Safety 60 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) recovery from 40 degrees to 140 when supplied with 40 PSIG steam to the control valve. Stainless Steel Tank and Tubing Temperature must be able to be controlled within 4 degrees plus or minus the set point. The heaters must be constructed and stamped in accordance with ASME code for a working pressure of 150 PSI on the tank side and 150 PSI tube site.
