NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE GAS LAWS.
1.1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to maintain and provide propane gas at Yokota Air Base and Tama Service Annex as defined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
1.2. Propane Gas Supply (Cylinders): The Contractor shall furnish propane gas at each location on Appendix A and B in accordance with industrial practice and Japanese
law. The frequency of replacing cylinders shall be determined by the Contractor based on the estimated annual consumption on Appendix A and B in order to maintain continuous supply of
propane gas. Additional or unscheduled work will be submitted to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and approved through the Contracting Office before work can proceed. The
Government will be responsible for repairs to infrastructure lines, pipes and fittings and replacing parts, materials, gas meters and regulators. The Contractor shall have the proper
registration at the applicable prefectural government under the Government of Japan (GOJ) law regarding the fair and safety standard of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) services
“Ekikasekiyugas No Hoann No Kakuho Oyobi Torihiki No Tekiseika Ni Kannsuru Houritus”, and shall furnish the properly
licensed individuals and materials to handle propane gas, and shall observe the safety requirements in accordance with commercial standards.
1.3. Liquid Propane Gas Supply (Tanks): The Contractor shall furnish propane gas and maintain propane gas tanks at each location on Appendix A and B for proper
operation of LPG system in accordance with manufacturer’s operation, industrial practice and the Japanese law. Additional or unscheduled work will be submitted to the Contracting
Officer Representative (COR) and approved through the Contracting Office before work can proceed. The Government will be responsible for repairs to infrastructure lines, pipes and
