PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #659-22-201 Public Address (PA) System Expansion and Upgrade The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC has a requirement for a
contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 659-22-201, to expand and upgrade their existing
Public Address (PA) System within the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center Campus in Salisbury, NC. General Scope: The Contractor will provide all transportation, material, hardware, parts,
tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to expand and upgrade the existing PA System within numerous buildings across the campus. Currently, about 21
buildings have existing paging speakers and cabling that will be re-used. Cable pathways that serve the building s PA system equipment is routed through a campus wide network of tunnels
and manholes. In support of the addition of a PA system in buildings 13, 14W, 14E, 15, 16, 17, and 18, existing gypsum board ceilings, acoustic ceiling panels, and other finished
concealed locations shall be removed to allow for the installation of the new infrastructure. The existing gypsum board ceilings, acoustic ceiling panels, and other finishes removed shall
be patched to match existing. Estimated construction magnitude is between $2M and $5M. NAICS CODE: 238210 Size Standard: $19.0 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small
Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about November 8, 2023. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this website. Bids will be due
approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes
