1.1 Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies,
facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary
to perform Gates, Barriers, and Turnstiles Service and Maintenance as defined in this Performance Work
Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor
shall perform to the standards in this contract.
1.2 Background: Tobyhanna Army Depot currently has the following gates, barriers, and turnstiles that
require regular service and maintenance.
 (3) Security Turnstiles encloser - Each turnstile housings consist of (2) turnstiles and (1) handicap
swing Gate – (1) adjacent to Building 4, (1) adjacent to Building 5, and (1) adjacent to Building

 (2) Grab 300 Ground Retractable Automobile Barriers – (1) on Hap Arnold Blvd & (1) on CPL
Damato St.
 (8) Hy-Security Slide Driver Gate Operators various models, along w/ Battery Backup Cabinets –
(1) at Truck Inspection Entrance at Scranton Gate, (1) at Visitor Center Entrance at Scranton Gate,
and (1) at Main Entrance, (2) at the intersection of Hap Arnold Blvd/Squier street, (2) located on
squier street at guard post 61, and (1) located behind building 11 by guard post 62.
 (3) Barrier MHTM Micro Drive Magnetic Auto Control Drop Arms – Main Entrance of Scranton
Gate.
 (2) HydraSwing model 40F located by building 20 guard post 60.
