REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for The contractor shall furnish labor, parts, supplies and equipment Test Equipment Calibration necessary to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and periodic preventive maintenance inspections for the equipment listed below. Equipment is located at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, 1700 N Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. This is for the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Replacement Facility located at 1700 N. Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. Equipment that can be calibrated to NIST standards onsite, shall be completed at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, 1700 N. Wheeling St., Aurora, CO 80045. Equipment shall be calibrated to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Calibration certificates shall be provided for each piece of equipment, in either electronic or hard paper copy. A labeling scheme shall be implemented on the equipment to note, at minimum the following: a. Calibration Date b. Calibration entity and technician initials c. Calibration expiration date Contractor shall be ISO 9001: 2008 certified, for Quality Management Purposes. Contractor shall provide an estimate for repair at time of calibration failure to VA Biomedical Engineering Point of Contact (POC). A not-to-exceed (NTE) value of $5000.00 for each performance term shall be included in the contract for repair services. Repair services off the repair CLIN shall not be executed without permission from the Biomedical Engineering POC or Contracting Officer. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION, and multiple awards MAY be made.
