This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. DLA Land Warren is seeking to identify possible sources that can supply: Wired Housing Assembly (DVDB); NSN 5855-01-588-5668; Part Number 12484070-1 The DVDB is a power distribution and control box for the automotive and diagnostic system of the Bradley M2A3/M3A3 Fighting Vehicles. The assembly is the central electrical interface point to the vehicle chassis. The DVDB also contains embedded diagnostics to detect failures and assist in troubleshooting. The Government did not fund the efforts in developing and testing this item , nor does the Government possess the technical data package (TDP), detailed drawings, and performance specifications for these items. As such, the Government does not have a complete TDP or software package sufficient for competition. DRS has demonstrated the unique and proven manufacturing capabilities to establish and maintain the processing control required to repetitively produce this item. DRS has proprietary automated test equipment (ATE) that they designed to test the function of the DVDB.
