Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to modify existing contract 36C10X21C0004 to Total Automation Group, Inc., 61 Industrial Center Road, Trafford, AL 35172 for additional AITC Gate Maintenance. AITC requires complete maintenance of the additional B&B ARMR manufactured products and Allen Bradley control system listed below for the remaining two years of the current contract s performance period. The contractor shall provide emergency repair services for the automatic gates and services per Manufacturer recommendations. Twelve (12) annual visits will be provided in the form of ten (10) monthly Preventative Maintenance (PM)s and two (2) semiannual PMs. Emergency repair visits will also be required (not included in regularly scheduled maintenance visits). (2) Model 400 Electric Crash Gates (1) Model 773 Electric Crash Beam (1) Model LXL Hydraulic Gate Operator w/ (1) Cantilever Sliding Gate (3) Model Park Pro Warning Arms (2) TAG Touchscreen Control Consoles This proposed modification is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 entitled, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. In accordance with this subpart and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), a justification will document the circumstances of the contract action that deem only one responsible source available. This is a "Notice of Intent" and not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties that feel they can provide the services may respond to the point of contact listed in this notice no later than 10:00AM ET on October 23, 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
