The 186th ARW intends to award a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), due to only one source being capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The requirement is to furnish and install the following supplies and shall integrate seamlessly with our current monitoring, IDS software, and hardware, which is Advantor Systems Corporation. The requirement is to furnish and install a compllete and usable Intrusion Detection System and Access Control System at Bldg. 135 at the 186th ARW. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion fo the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with sole source procurements in the future.
