THIS IS A DRAFT SOLICITATION ONLY, which is being issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 10 for the purposes of market research. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This is not a formal solicitation/request for proposal and no contract shall be awarded from this posting. This DRAFT solicitation is for the procurement of Fire Suppression Support Services for eight test sites at Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) within Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), MD.

Please note that this DRAFT solicitation is being released in order to provide potential offerors the opportunity to review the solicitation and ask questions prior to official solicitation release. The Government is seeking questions and comments on the requirement and on how the solicitation is set-up. If there are any ambiguities or uncertainties, please advise accordingly.

All questions shall be submitted in writing to Dennis Beauclair, Jr., Contract Specialist, via e-mail to dennis.a.beauclair3.civ@army.mil no later than 4:00 p.m. EST 19 October 2023. Questions submitted after this time may not be addressed. All questions and comments about this submission must be in writing (email); no telephone calls will be accepted.

A final solicitation is expected to be released on the SAM.gov website on or before 9 November 2023 (estimated). Quotes submitted prior to official and final solicitation release will not be accepted. Questions requesting additional details on the release of the final solicitation on SAM.gov will also not be addressed.

SITE VISIT INFORMATION

A site visit is planned to take place Thursday 19 October 2023 at 8:00 AM at Aberdeen Test Center, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. An email with instructions and information regarding the site visit will be sent to companies that submit an email of interest by the deadline of 10:00 AM EST on 17 October 2023.
