PROJECT: AK PFH 58(1), Neck Lake Road Reconstruction: NPOWI HWY. TO MARINE ACCESS FACILITY JCT., Tangass National Forest, Hyder Census Area, Alaska.

LOCATION: 50 miles NW of Coffman Cove

WORK: This project includes reconstructing the deficient Neck Lake Inlet Bridge as well as converting six existing culverts to Aquatic Organism Passage Pipes. The project includes minor horizontal alignment improvements as well as profile grade raises to prevent overtopping during storm surge. The project construction will also widen the roadway template to 18’ and install guardrail in strategic locations to allow safer vehicular passage adjacent to Neck Lake and across the causeways..
