The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all U.S manufactured products that are equal to the following product(s):

The USDA, ARS, Mycology and Nematology Genetic Diversity and Biology Laboratory(MNGDBL), Beltsville, MD requires a Nikon Digital Sight 10 (DS-10) Color Camera (23.9MP), workstation & 4X objective 2023 upgrade.

All components must be compatible with the existing Nikon Eclipse Ni-U and SMZ-1270 microscopes.

OBJECTIVE: Upgrade current system to include New Workstation and Elements Basic Research(BR) to Advanced Research(AR) upgrade and Higher Resolution 4x Objective for taking advance images of nematodes.

• Enhanced Imaging Workstation
• NIS-Elements: Upgrade: BR to AR

• CFI60 Plan Apochromat Lambda D 4x

Submission Instructions

Interested businesses who consider themselves qualified to provide Nikon Digital Sight 10 (DS-10) Color Camera (23.9MP), workstation & 4X objective 2023 upgrade or an equal product that is manufactured in the United States for the above-listed product are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by Sept. 19, 2023, by 11:00 AM EST. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response defines how it can specifically meet the specifications for the items requested. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After reviewing the responses received, a Combined Synopsis solicitation notice may be published on Sam.gov.

No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
