The Department of Energys (DOE), Office of Headquarters Procurement Service, on behalf of the Office of Management, Main Distribution Office intends to issue a sole source award to Servco Inc., 8700 Old Ardmore Rd, Hyattsville, MD, 20785-2317 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1) for Freight Forwarding Services.

Servo, Inc. will provide occasional time sensitive shipments for various packages such as, crates, pallets, shipments, boxes, furniture, framed items, conference equipment, etc., which include inside pickup and delivery, airfreight, packing and crating services, wrap/band on pallets for higher declared value shipments weighing more than 150 pounds, which require guaranteed delivery at specific times, days, and locations. These services include assurance that packages are stored (warehoused) if necessary to guarantee door-to-door delivery within the specific parameters with confirmation and transfer of receipt.

This notice does not constitute a solicitation or a request for competitive quotations and no solicitation will be issued. Any response to this notice is purely voluntary. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Responses shall be sent in writing to Dremayne Doyle, dremayne.doyle@hq.doe.gov via email no later than Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 8:00 AM Eastern Time (ET). The e-mail shall contain the following subject line: Response to Notice of Intent 89303023NMA000071.

A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
