The 6th Contracting Squadron will be soliciting a 100% small business set‐aside for a Single Award
MacDill AFB Protective Coating (Painting) IDIQ. This Indefinite‐Delivery Indefinite‐Quantity (IDIQ)
contract is intended for paint/power washing projects that shall be awarded via individual task orders.
Task orders will provide a vehicle to perform interior and exterior painting, protective coating services
and sign fabrication for various facilities.
The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and
services necessary to perform the work as described in the Statement of Work (SOW) of individual task
orders.
Locations of work will be at MacDill AFB and Avon Park Air Force Range, Avon Park, FL. The work
will be accomplished for the 6 ARW, USCENTCOM, USSOCOM, JCSE and other tenants located at
MacDill AFB, FL and Avon Park Air Force Range (ACC), Avon Park, FL.
The cumulative Protective Coating (Painting) IDIQ value (combined value of all task orders from all
awarded contracts) is not to exceed $3M over a five‐year period. The value of individual task orders
ranges from $2,000.00 to $1,000,000.00, but typically they will not exceed $500,000.00.
The period of performance is expected to be a five (5) year ordering period.
Work to be performed under this Single Award MacDill Painting IDIQ will be within the North
American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes as follows: 238320, Painting and Wall
Covering Contractors. The small business size standard is $16.5 Million.
The solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 28 September 2023. The closing date and time for
submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including the
sample projects specifications and drawings, will be available in electronic format, for free, only on
System for Award Management at sam.gov.
Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and
any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. In
addition, offerors MUST register at sam.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the
solicitation or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the
