Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY 12203, during the term of October 01, 2023 through September 30, 2024 with provision for four (4) Option Years. INTERESTED &
CAPABLE RESPONSES: NCO 2 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to
provide these services. Please provide all of the following in your response: Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small

Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for which you propose to provide the service under for verification of your size standard. A Capability Statement which provides detailed,
specific information that demonstrates understanding of the tasks required and capability to perform the tasks as stated in the attached Statement of Work. Failure to tailor capability

any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted for this notice. STATEMENT OF WORK Hill-Rom ICU BED Service/Preventive Maintenance Albany Stratton VA Medical
Center Introduction The Stratton VA Medical Center, located at 113 Holland Ave, Albany New York-12208 is requesting service to perform Service/Preventative Maintenance on 10 Progressa,
Hill-Rom ICU beds. All labor and material will be furnished to accomplish completed repairs. This service is requested for the period of one (1) base year with the provision of four (4)
option years. Place of Performance All services shall be performed at the Stratton VA Medical Center 113 Holland Ave Albany, NY 12208, in the Biomed department C52 Building 2 Period of
Performance The estimated base period of performance is October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024, with the provision of four option years Scope of Work 1. Contractor shall provide all
parts, tools, travel & labor required to repair inoperable beds. 2. Contractor shall provide Annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) calls per bed per year PMs will be performed based on
the due date 3. Contractor shall provide Joint Commission and regulatory documentation which will consist of all inspection and repair paperwork on each bed. 4. Contractor shall provide
Hill-Rom genuine replacement parts for all repairs. 5. Contractor shall provide all required Software updates. 6. Contractor shall provide a certified Hill Rom bed technician to ensure
patient safety by maintaining the safety features and stringent repair requirements of beds. 7. Contractor to provide technical support for the entire year which provides customers with
the ability to call Hill-Rom support desk to report problems and receive technical support both via phone and in person. Hill-Rom will provide all repairs and parts to repair any job

(PM) Services shall include Annual scheduled preventative maintenance visits per contract year per bed based on the due date. PM Service shall include, but not be limited to electrical
safety testing, lubrication, adjustment, calibration, testing and replacement of faulty parts and/or parts which are likely to fail. The contractor s PM procedures will be comparable to
that required by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Contractor shall have access to unique and/or high mortality manufacturers replacement parts (or equal thereto). The contractor
shall furnish only new standard parts (manufactured by the maker of the equipment, or equal thereto). All parts shall be of current manufacture (or equal thereto) and shall have full
versatility with presently installed equipment Contractor shall repair the equipment deficiencies related to any and all hazard alerts from the manufacturer, CPSC or Veterans
Administration Contractor shall respond to all repair requests within the specified time frame. Response by the Contractor is defined as: -An on-site visit by a qualified repairperson
within eight (8) working hours of the initial contact; and/or -Shipment of appropriate parts for installation by VA personnel or contractor representatives within twenty-four (24) hours
of the initial contact. Normal working hours are 8:00 AM EST - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Holidays observed by the VAMC are: New Year s Day Martin Luther King Day President s Day
Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Columbus Day Veteran s Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Any other day specifically declared by the President of the United States to be a
National holiday. Contractor shall provide any documentation or field service report. Contractors service representative shall contact the COR or the POC prior to any service performed.
Prior to any service performed service representative will sign off at the Biomed department in Building 2 Room C52. This contract will cover ALL necessary maintenance and support for the
listed equipment, including but not limited to mechanical breakdown, design failure, mechanical defect, defect caused by user error, or defect caused by a situational emergency beyond the
control of the VA. Competent and qualified personnel shall perform all work. Personnel must be experienced to work on the specific equipment listed in this SOW. Contractor shall provide
certification as required by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) that all personnel authorized to maintain the equipment specified by the
contract are competent and able to perform all duties listed under the terms of the contract. All work performed shall be first class in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
CONTRACTING OFFICER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REQUEST PROOF OF APPROPRIATE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE FROM VENDOR PERSONNEL FOR SERVICING THE EQUIPMENT ON THE SCHEDULE. Delivery Schedule or
Deliverables Contractors service representative shall contact Biomedical Engineering prior to any service performed and once the service is completed. Other Related Services (Not Included
in the Scope of Work) Services for equipment not specifically indicated in this SOW are not covered under this contract. Should the VA have other units that need incidental repair, those
repairs may not be performed under this contract. Should the VA have other equipment that require routine repair and PM services such as those included in this requirement, then those
units may be added to the contract. An addition of this type shall only be established by a modification to the contract by the contracting officer. The contracting officer must first
review the cost and the scope of the addition to determine if it is reasonable. Any additional work of this nature completed prior to the implementation of a contract modification signed
by both parties shall not be authorized to payment.
