US Coast Guard, South Padre Island, TX intends to award a sole source award to ARMAG Corporation, for the requirement of obtaining a replacement in kind modular armory in regulatory compliance with the USCG Ordnance Manual (COMDTINST M8000.2) and NSWC 3046-93-2, which also must also align with the current concrete foundation and electrical infrastructure currently in place.

The US Coast Guard intends to establish a single award contract. The Government intends to award to only one source under the authority of Subpart 6.302-l(b)(l). No solicitation will be issued. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
